How it works
To CE-mark a robot, the manufacturer must perform a risk assessment, apply relevant harmonised standards (ISO 10218, ISO 13849, etc.), compile a technical file, and (for higher-risk machinery) involve a notified body. The result is a Declaration of Conformity and the CE mark on the product.
